On April 14th, Summer Street Brass partners with Berklee's Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs (BIAESN) for a second time, opening the Sunday session with live music for ABLE Assembly (Arts Better the Lives of Everyone) annual conference.

November 2nd and 3rd, 2018

Summer Street joins ILLUMINUS, a contemporary arts festival that features original installations, video projections and performances by artists who work in the medium of light and sound to create immersive experiences that turn city streets into an installation gallery.

July 28th, 2018

Summer Street Brass Band, along with the Lawrence High School Summer Drummers, perform along The Rose Kennedy Greenway as part of their Downtown Playdates. This is a free event and perfect for all ages. Join us for an afternoon of music and an instrument petting zoo!

March 26th, 2019

Arts Advocacy is an important part of our work. Join the musicians of Summer Street for the third annual Arts Advocacy Day hosted by MASSCreative at Arts Emerson. Back by popular demand, the band will lead 450+ of the States most passionate arts leaders to the State House for a day of advocacy for the arts.

July 18th, 2018

Summer Street musicians were invited to experience the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. They received coaching from musicians from Triton Brass and Axiom Brass, as well as rehearsed alongside BUTI student musicians.

January 15th, 2019

The Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special needs provides educational opportunities in the arts for all learners. The Summer Street band will work and perform with students in the Day Sessions: ABLE (Arts Better the Lives of Everyone) Summer Music Program.
